Angèle grew up in the wilds of northern Canada. She received an honours degree in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan has worked for Manitoba Conservation in the departments of Parks, Wildlife, and Forestry. She currently conducts environmental impact assessments with a private consulting firm. She has ten years experience as a nature interpreter in parks, zoos and museums, and many seasons of field research in forestry and wildlife.

Angèle has produced several pamphlets and interpretive signs, written many nature articles, and spent time as a high school science teacher and a university lab instructor. She seeks out any opportunity to promote appreciation and conservation of wildlife and natural areas, and to share her love of the north and the adventures it offers.

Angèle, her husband Chris, and their menagerie of pets live in Manitoba, Canada.
