Born in Frobisher Bay on Baffin Island (Iqaluit, Nunavut), Kevin now resides in Churchill. He was involved in the tourism industry for 18 years, as a tour guide, snowmobile guide, expedition leader on cruise ships and tour boat operator, before leading Tundra Buggy Adventures in Churchill. When Kevin is not leading Tundra Buggy trips, he works with Parks Canada as a Park Officer in Wapusk National Park. For seven years, Kevin worked as a field technician with the University of Saskatchewan's Polar Bear Biologists, assisting with the Churchill and high Arctic populations of polar bears. He has a keen interest in protecting the environment, traveling, wildlife viewing, wildlife photography and filmmaking.
