Raised in the wilds of northern Canada, Angèle has worked as a nature interpreter in parks, zoos, museums and in forestry in order to promote appreciation and conservation of wildlife and natural areas.
Born in the Netherlands, Bob immigrated to Canada at a young age and settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba. During his 31-year career as a Zoo Keeper at the Assiniboine Park Zoo and San Francisco Zoo, Bob had the opportunity to work with many wildlife species, including the giant panda’s at the Giant Panda Research Base in Chengdu, China.
"I love being the explorer as well as the photographer. For me photography of the natural world is more than just pretty settings and cuddly animal photos. It's a concern for the environment and the earth all living creatures must share."
Currently residing in Winnipeg, David has had the opportunity to take part in intimate wildlife experiences with guests from all over the world.
Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, David moved to the Canadian arctic in 1989. For over a decade, he has been involved in the adventure travel business and has led and participated in over 250 arctic and antarctic expeditions and projects.
Raised along the shores of Lake Superior, Derek developed a deep-seated fascination and curiosity for wildlife at an early age. Inspired by nature programs such as The Nature of Things, Derek obtained a degree in biology.
Recently retired as Director of Assiniboine Park Zoo, Doug has worked as an interpretive naturalist for Parks Canada, Alberta Parks and the City of Winnipeg.
Born and raised in New Zealand and now residing on the northern regions of Vancouver Island, Hayley has spent her entire life surrounded by the sea. Her profession as a teacher extended gradually into the wilderness and as a guide and naturalist.
A retired RCMP staff sergeant, Jerry has had a life-long interest in the outdoors and wildlife photography. During his Churchill posting with the RCMP, he enjoyed the unique opportunity to capture images of polar bears in the region.
A seasoned raft guide in Jasper, Alberta, Jim has led enthusiastic white-water tour groups for over 20 years. When not behind the wheel of a Tundra Buggy or braving the wild waters, he takes great interest in wildlife photography, filmmaking, fly-fishing, canoeing, dog walking, hiking and music.
Kevin was involved in the tourism industry for 18 years, as a tour guide, snowmobile guide, expedition leader on cruise ships and tour boat operator, before leading Tundra Buggy Adventures in Churchill.
For over a decade, Marc has led interpretive trips all over the world, including expeditions to Antarctica, river guiding in the Yukon, and dogsledding excursions throughout the Canadian Rockies.
A professional nature photographer, Richard has been in the business marketing photos and teaching photo workshops since 1984. He specializes in birds, butterflies, and mammals and his work has been published in Audubon, National Wildlife, National Geographic, and many other nature-related publications and books.
A keen nature and wildlife photographer, Rick has always had a particular passion for bears. Polar bears have become his specialty since joining Frontiers North Adventures in 2005.
Whether riding horses through the Canadian Rockies or assisting with dives off the coast of Honduras, Tara brings a sense of wonder and storytelling to everything she encounters.
