Our final Photo of the Day was captured at the end of our very successful 2009 polar bear season in Churchill, MB.

FNA Interpretive Guide, Tara Ryan, shared with us some great images she captured of her tour group over our 6-week polar bear season. Looks like they all had a blast!

Last week Jerry Anderson, one of our Interpretive Guides, and his group were walking back to their hotel in Churchill when they spotted a cross fox (also called a blue fox) in front of them. Everybody ran and grabbed their cameras and captured a few images. For for next hour and a half they spotted 2 blue fox, 2 arctic fox and 1 red fox around downtown streets of Churchill! They had a blast and took photos until their fingers were too frozen to continue.
Here is a great image taken by Tara Ryan, one of our Interpretive Guides, from the observation deck of a Tundra Buggy. You don’t get much closer than this!

CTV’s Canada AM featured our Northern Lights & Winter Nights adventure yesterday morning on their Holiday Guide: Winter Travel series. Canada AM’s Travel Expert, Loren Christie, used his final segment to showcase our Northern Lights adventure in Churchill alongside destinations like Whistler and the Radium Hot Springs in British Columbia and Algonquin Park in Ontario. Very cool.
Here is the segment (we are featured at the 2:00 minute mark!)
Here are some more great images we’ve gathered over the past few weeks, including a mom with two cubs, arctic hare and a beautiful tundra sunset.

A couple weeks ago we hosted an NBC film crew here shooting a vignette that is scheduled to air during their coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
We were able to help the crew document FNA’s international contingent of guests, polar bears being polar bears (of course) and we knocked out a couple interviews with their presenter, one with and about our company and a second with Dylan Burton, a local teen with interesting stories of growing up in the polar bear capital of the world!
