The Foxe Basin area is rich in wildlife, including whales, walrus and seal. During this program, we follow the old tradition of tent camping near the water's edge in hopes of spotting a magnificent bowhead or walrus. Our intent, however, is a little different than that of the original campers in this area; we have come for the sole purpose of enjoying these wonderful creatures and hopefully, to return home with a treasure of memories and frame-worthy photographs. We'll enjoy a short visit in Iqaluit, the capital city of Nunavut, before heading back to Ottawa from where we began.
